TEACHING

 Do you have a home quilting system (Handiquilter, MegaQuilter, Superquilter) and would like to have private instruction in your home on quilt setup and basic quilting?  I will come to your home and help you get started with your system.

Basics Class    2 hours                                            $50.00

Includes how to set up your sewing machine properly, bobbin and tension issues, thread choices and issues, batting choices, how to load a quilt, basic meandering, basic free motion quilting on your midarm.  Your quilting system must be setup and ready to go.

Intermediate Class         2 hours                            $60.00

Includes working with different threads, bobbin and tension issues, feathers and intermediate freehand work, ruler work, how to choose your freehand quilt pattern, and resources for your quilting.  Your quilting system must be set up and ready to go.  This class is great for beginning long arm quilters also as it will give great basic freehand instruction.  Your quilting system (mid or longarm) must be setup and ready to go.  

Introduction to Machine Quilting           2 hours        $45.00

This class is designed for your home sewing machine and will cover machine setup, tension and bobbin issues, thread choices, batting, basic to advanced meandering technqiues, quilting choices.  This is a technique class and there is no specific project.  Your sewing machine should have feed dogs that drop.

Private Instruction - your choice of subject in your home    $25.00/hour

 The above classes are designed for one person - if you would like group instruction add $15.00 per person
